Convert your 6600/3660 in 1.3Mp Cam!!!!

Hi there guys,
I just got this great new software called photoacute and it makes the 640x480 Resolution bite crap. As it takes 1.3 MP shots on your normal VGA cam.

Ok even I know that its not possible but just wait and listen what I have to say. What it does actually that it takes 4-5 shots and then manupulates them so the image resolution goes to megapixel range.

Pros : Megapixel CAM!!! on my 3660
Cons : You have to hold it very steady otherwise there will be an error.

So I hope you get who it works. Its not usefull for photographing people, or moving objects. (whoa moving objects end up blurrn on the normal cam too). It would only be usefull if you have a good sceanery and you want to capture it in good resolution.

Well thanks, I dont think its available for the 6230 as even I have one and could not get it for s40. It does a preety well job. Its slow, but you can run it in the background so It doesnt matter.
It is only for getting bigger sized images, they are the same, but you cannot compare them to a MP cam images as they are software manuplated.

I did not even correct my 'typo' I meant to say "darb" the image is a little drab.

Wow, I'm impressed (at the photos and the fact we can attach now!).

I'll have to look into that software as well sometime, I was so sure it was going to be some gip software-interpolation job which as we all know (cough, cough... T630 'VGA mode'... cough) is a pile of crap and about as much use as digital zoom.

its not that good... my friend has it on his 6600 and it take about 10secs to take the pic and 5mins to process it!!! its only good for still objects that are worth taking photos of, not those pics u take just for fun..

yeah but it is still a cool thing to have. It works pretty nicely. I can almost take photos with my 6600 to use as wall papers for my pc!!

actually its preety cool. You can put the app in background and let it process the files. And I took pix of people today just tell them not to move and VOILA you get megapixel PIX!
