6610i IR question

Hi there, would anybody know of the IR port of the 6610i is "crippled" or not? I mean, is it now possible to transfer files (like tones and graphics) to another phone, using its IR? (like a 3200, for example).

Not having seen the phone, but I have heard it features 7250i software, So I think it must be a revised one like the 3200. Why the hell would nokia not include that? Yeah Nokia is wierd can expect anything!
