P900 Memory

I heard about memory sticks which work on the p900 that are 2x128 mb sticks. I.e. It's double sided or its got a little switch on it which means you can switch from each 128 mb partition.

True or what ? Does it work on the p900 ?

These memory sticks do exist but normally only as the full size ones - they are the ones I have seen and I remember seeing both ones you flip over and ones you remove and flick a switch. I haven't, however, seen any MS Duo format (double sided/switched) ones to date. The problem is that the MS format (non-Pro) only allows for up to 128mb and Sony Ericsson stupidly didn't allow the MS Duo Pro format on the P series (they really should have put it in for the P900 at least). Pro format sticks can reach up to 1Gb but are also hideously expensive (£250 for a 1Gb MS Pro) and are not compatible with non-Pro devices, though though non-Pro sticks will work in both types of device. Hope that helps. The end results with these memory sticks is that you will have to remove them to change the memory anyway which is a bit annoying, you may also find 2 separate 128mb sticks are cheaper than one single 2 x 128mb one.
