the availablity of Samsung E700 in England

Hello, I am a new user of this forum.
I am just wondering whether anyone knows that the Samsung E700 is available in England. I have a friend that lives there and I want to get her to buy one for me and send it over to Canada because canada's technology products are really realy behind.
I hope someone can tell me and also let me know the price. thank you everyone.

Still very early to say about availability & price on this mobile, but all I have for you is this link to 'Expansys UK' (http://www.expansys.com/product.asp?code=106465&asource=) will details of an unlocked model. You might want to try emailing them about stock availability, etc.

Having said that, I've just come across this website (http://www.digiuk.com/samsung/) that states its release as end of october. <<Click 'telephones', then the 'mobile phone' picture. Scroll down to the E700.

Never used (or heard) of them before but you might want to email them too.

Oh, and try Carphone Warehouse as they are advertising the E700 for £99.99 as an upgrade price on Vodafone... or £29.99 on a T-Mobile contract, but that's not going to be practical for you since your based over-seas. The handset only price is £329.99 (which is pretty much the same as Digi-UK), but I doubt that's unlocked.
