SIEMENS has just release specs of their new smartphone called SX2(successor of SX1 )

which has stereo sound with bass reflex ,can play real as well as quicktime and windows media format , Fm radio , symbian 7.0s(like 7610) , hot swapable mmc card , infrared ,bluetooth and WIFI , 2.1 megapixel , standard layout keys ,big screen 176x220 as campared to 7610's 176x208 ,30 mb builtin free mem(excluded 10 mb reserve mem for system files) ,supports Edge (118kbps) ,unlimited video recording option, video editing ,4x zoom(during video recording also) and much more

If you go to siemenspress.com you can change which country the press is. This one's in Italy, hence the Italian. UK Siemens press here (http://www.siemens.co.uk/)

The whole idea of the SX1 was that ridiculas keypad layout (though I love it) if they made a traditional one for an SX2... it would look like so many other phones they already have out now. Dare to be different.. HELLOOOoooooooooo...

I think the traditional lay out, plus an area like graphiteeee for a text input system would be sweeter than chili cheese fries with molasses.

THERE IS NO WAY ANY 2.5G OR 2.999999G (like the sx2) phones will be out in 2006

i can assure you buy 2006 all ohones will be 3G

Somewhere along there.

It was basicallly meant to say that no phone with those kind of specs is going to be out by the end of 2004. It took Siemens 1 year to release the SX1 after unvieling it. Dream on.

it is bit smaller than sx1 ,button now move back to the standard layout but the area around the screen is still occupied by the buttons 2 on the right and 2 on the left which r for mp3 player,fm radio,camera and voice dial/command.
back side is almost the same but with the addition of a flash.
and the color is like a pearl white kind of something.

u have to see it to believe it.

Siemens are making big announcements in August. Maybe we will see the sucessor to SX1.
