Width wise the 6600 58.2mm the 3650 is 57mm, that's just 1.2mm difference.
Here is a picture of the 2 side by side

The main differences you will be able to see are

Smaller physical size
Normal keypad layout
65k screen

So depending on the cost of the 6600 when it's released you will have ask yourself if it's worth the price to upgrade compared to what you get.

An other phone you might want to consider when it's released is the Siemens SX1

Size wise it's a bit smaller 109 x 56 x 19mm
It runs on the same UI, Nokia series 60 (So you already know how it works)
It has a built-in MP3 player
It has a FM radio
Stereo sound

hey, thanks for the reply! ;)
About the SX1, is it out already? And how much does it run, same price as 3650?

will you be able to play mp3's on the nokia 6600? if there isn't a built in mp3 player are there mp3 app's out there that would allow you to playback mp3's on the 6600?

No the SX1 isn't out yet the latest rumours are that it will be released between November or December and as for the price people are saying it will be around the same price as 6600 (Just speculation at this point)

You should be able to get 3rd party apps that will allow you play MP3's on the 6600 but you have to remember that unlike the SX1 the 6600 only has mono sound so it wont sound as good

thanks for the reply, i was aware that it was mono, but if you are listening through headset that wouldn't matter would it?

If you are listening through a one-ear headset, it is actually better for the sound to be in mono.

i was able to take a look at the SX1, and the keypad looks horrid! It looks worse than my 3650's keypad now. Right now, I guess I'm leaning towards the 6600, but the SX1's size is verrrry tempting.

True. but if you have a two-ear headset stereo sound will sound better
