i hate rubber keypads
but on Nokias phones the keypad when pressed makes a click sound at first this is great but on some occasions i find it a bit of irritating LOL

Apparently, the worst keypads on the latest phones are the Siemens ST55 and Panasonic G50.

The keypad on the SE P800 kinda sucks too. Though, the Siemens C35(i) keypad is even worse...

I agree, but I don't think the P800 can be counted, since the keypad is it's secondary input method. I think it was put as an afterthought, and only for use rarely.

Word... It's kinda nice too have too then, for onehand messaging...
There is nothing wrong with the Nokia 3650 keyboard. It s actually more ergonomic in its design than the other keyboards. It is designed so that the normal rotational capability of the thumb is used. All the other keyboards are awkward. I tis just that people have put up with all the other badly designed keyboards and forced traiined their digits to use them. Now that there is a well designed keyboard (3650) that allows for the natural range of movement of the thumb people are having difficulty retraining themselves to do .what comes naturally

Yup, try telling that to someone who wants to play games on their 3650.

The thumb's natural path is indeed a curve, but not one like a smile as in the 3650, but the opposite of that.
The shape should be that of a frown, not a smile. The keypad design is upside-down.
The 3650's keypad manages to be perfectly un-ergonomic. All the worse when you consider how top-heavy the phone is and the keys you most often need to press are at the very bottom of the phone.
Seems obvious that nobody at Nokia ever picked up a design mock-up and tried to dial on it.
They were close, but they got it backwards....
