i was lookin for a new fone and my friend has this 1 and says it is quite gd. does ne 1 hav ne opinions?

I can't be certain about all of the T720 Motorola phones, but the few I have seen are terrible. I tried one for about 2 weeks and it was awful. Screen is good, games are good, most features are nice. Phone performance is not. The battery life is very poor. I saw 10-12 hour standby times on mine. The earpiece volume is hard to hear at the max setting. I could only use mine with the hands free, and even then it was not loud. The reception is very poor as well. I couldn't make calls in areas where the signal is very strong. I have a couple of friends who own the 720 and they have the same service that I did. Plus it isn't service provider specific either. Each of us were using different providers. Make sure if you try the 720 that you have a grace period in which to switch phones if you're not happy. Good Luck.

I did a review of the T720 and liked it. My only complaint was the battery life, which was one of the things improved on the T720i.

I use a T730 on Verizon as my home phone, and it is a battery hog, too. Otherwise I love the phones.
