Hey everyone, was just looking for some thoughts on which phone I should go for, the T630 or the E700.... As far as I can see they're pretty evenly matched technically (both equally nicely designed as well) but with some important differences. First of all, the E700 has about 7 megs more memory but i'm not sure if that is a huge consideration..... has anyone found themselves running out of memory when using the T630? Also the T630 is tri-band while the E700 is only dual... apart from the obvious advantages when roaming, does this have any effect on overall reception? The camera on the E700 is significantly better but that's not really a huge consideration for me.... Finally, has anyone tried out the menu interfaces on both phones? I've tried the T630 and it seems good, but i've not had a chance to play around with the E700... Again, the build quality of SE phones is generally better than Samsung phones, and that is really quite important... Any thoughts on which I should choose would be greatly appreciated as i'm quite split about what I should do. Thx.

personally i prefer the interface on the t630 but the e700 interface isnt that bad too. for the camera, yes the e700 has a much2 better camera but it doesnt matter to me cos i dont use the hp cams. if u use the cams alot then go for the e700 cos u'll have better quality pics and u're gonna run out of memory fast on the t630. with 2mbs on the t630 i got abt 40+ pics when set to large. i use the memory mainly for photo-id for my contacts that i took with my digicam instead and also for morphun games and java apps, so the 2mb memory is more than enough for me. as for the network band, a tri/quad band would be an advantage for me as i travel alot. havent had probs with network for both in asia though. lastly, yes the quality of SE hps seems to be really good. i've had my t68i dropped 6 floors and it was still in 1 piece and usable and had a friend who dropped his t610 got ran over by a car and still usable and in 1 piece. cant really tell you which hp to get unless i know how is it you are gonna use your hp.

Hey thanks for your advice... I agree, the cameras at this stage are somewhat pointless, even 640 by 480 shots don't turn out too well especially when compared against mainstream digital cams... maybe next year it'll be a bigger consideration. Lol about the T610 getting run over and still working, but i've always thought that SEs felt really solid. I think i was leaning towards the SE, but thanks again.
