Im a bored Nokia user seriously considering switching to a T630, but id just like to ask a few things first that im unable to find out elsewhere...

Firstly shortcuts: im able to access things very quickly on my 7250, one press to get to New SMS message, camera, calender, profiles, and one press to access a shortcuts menu for SMS inbox etc (user definable menu). Was wondering how the T630 compares for these things, i dont want a phone where i need to do 8 presses just to begin a new sms message! Also if i have a TMobile handset is one of the softkeys locked to TZones? If so, what options are lost by this useless alteration?!

Battery: i dont use my handset too heavily, how many days standby can i expect? (Im a bit spoiled at the moment, can get almost 7 days from my phone!)

Alarm: does the alarm have snooze feature? (how many mins does it delay the alarm for? sorry 'bout the silly questions but important to me!)

Also does it store plenty of messages in the inbox/sent items?

Thanks for any help

shortcuts: 1 for camera, 1 for wap and only 1 user definable on the stick when moved left. stick up goes to my friends, stick down goes to contact lists and stick right or pressed goes to menu. there's a prompt to view new messages but if u wish to view it later, u need abt 4 keypresses to get to the new message -> menu then 5 then 1 then 2. i miss the my shortcuts function on my t610 though, it was replaced by the my friends function. if you want to be able to define the 4 stick directions, wait for the k700.

battery: for heavy usage, my batt lasts abt 3/4 to 1 day. for comparison, so far all nokia and samsung i've tried, lasted abt 1/2 a day or so for heavy use. low usage abt 5-6 days for me. also depends on whr i am. seems like it lasts slightly longer when i am in singapore than when i am in florida. due to temperature? i dont know. i keep a spare batt in my wallet as the batt is pretty slim and i use an external charger to charge my flat batt so the phone can go whereever i go.

alarm: the snooze delay for the alarm is about 9 mins i think. i use an imy monotone for this seems to be a whole lot louder tn polytones. you can use notepad to code an imy also.

messages: you can store abt 60-70 SMSs before it gets full. Emails about 5 messages that are saved into the phone but you can have as many in the server. MMS msgs depends on how much shared memory (about 2MB max, shared with pics, tones, themes, apps) you have left in the hp.
