Ya Tarek, P900 is normally not for people "badly" in need for a phone. LOL

Also I don't remember if the S700 had a stylus like the P900. I think those 2 phones don't belong to exactly the same category.

*What I would do*
Buy a cheap phone that you can live with for another couple of months. Then in 8 months (when the S700 comes out) Buy the S700.

what do u mean not badly in need of a phone?

and i know that s700 doesnt really have a stylus but im just asking, which would be better suited for a lifestyle of a student. a guy once told me only business people buy the p900 because its a heavy duty phone. lots of software.

As a student as well, I'd say the s700, even though I have a p900.

We're used to hear, "only business man use handphone" when i'm 13 or 14... cdover.. how old r ya? u see tarek, there's no really a businessman or student kinda market niche now guess.... except for the pricing.... i'd say buy a P900 now... (one would need a PDA anyway, then-- P900 is jus a PDA that has a built-in phone for easy internet accessing) then when the S700 is launched, get it---> coz its a few months from now and u've probably recovered from the P900 financial slash. U can always go clubbing with the S700 thou... P900?... neh~~

And you got a P900? what the hell. How could you afford that? Took me ages to save up for my N-Gage and I had to sell my other phone.

Yar. Well at first I was saving for AGES for a 6600, but then I found the p900 and saved up a few more. Most of my money comes from my school report, which is great because it comes every half term. :D

Ah. Oops, I mean I get my school report and receive money from my parents :). Uh, well...I'd say the p900 is you REALLY like Symbian (like me)...if not, thenthe s700 would be great, you save money...but still have to wait a while.

I got my P900 using my UNI's term break, for a whole month i work like hell, but eventually it paid off... i hit my monthly sales target in 9 days... proceeded to hit the second target and eventually asked my boss to give me a new target to be achieved in which i get another additional incentive!

Initially, i wanted to get the XDAII, and a pair of Logitech BT headsets, but then, theres this P900 thing.... and out of nowhere i suddenly dislikes BT headsets.....

Its lucky for teens nowadays... really, i remembered i work like hell for my Nokia 5110 too, which at that time.... cdover i guess ur too young to use a Hphone..... :p

Since we're about to fall into May, Q4 starts in 5 months (starting October).

And off topic, what exactly does "hp" stand for ? been seeing it a lot here. And the post before me mentions "Hphone"

I'm hoping for a release of the P900 successor, which I hope will have a megapixel cam and 100k screen like the S700. In that case, I'll skip the S700.

Thanks all for the corrections. But I'm still wondering what "hp" and "Hphone" is.

Thanks cdover. But it's weird that they'd call it that. Hand phone, as opposed to what ? Foot phone ? Mobile phone as opposed to fixed phone is understandable.
