On www.mobile-review.com they state that it can take videos for however long the memory lasts - unlimited length.

I'm running a video test right now to see if it is limited at all, though. The 6230 said "fill available memory" or something, but still was limited to 4 minutes. 4min is plenty long, but why bother with a limit at all?

Hmmm, mine stopped at about 34 seconds, but the video software in the firmware I have is so early, that doesn't mean anything. I'm not sure it didn't crash, because it was doing all sorts of funky stuff.
I suppose we'll have to wait for it to get finished in order to find out.

Mine does the same Michael...varying from 10 seconds to as long as a minute before it crashes... I was told the firmware was very buggy before the recent firmware installed on my phone. Still, it has major bugs in the camera/video software as well as the media player. It's hit or miss.. I was smart enough to end a video at about 15 seconds and posted it for review on Howards along with my review of the phone..

partly incorrect, mobile-review stated that they were able to record video for 30 sec, and stated that since their unit, as well as the ones had by michael, and bengalboy were all prototypes, the limitations might still be removed once actual commercial units are out, of course this is something that everybody would like to see... so it is still a wait n see thing...

Who needs 5 min long videos anyway? The quality is pretty poor on VGA cameras.

I have been using my Z1010's video feature which is the same OS as t he K700....it's unlimited video works very well. Expect the same from the K700 once the firmware is finalized.
