Ok, anyone know of ANY product that i can install in the dashboard of my car(like a CD player/XM radio) that has built in bluetooth?? It would be a genius idea to have your CD player connect directly to your phone and share mp3s and have your CD player automatically turn down when you are recieveing a call or message.

I am sure im not the first person that thought about how groovy that would be, so there has to be one. I jsut cant find one... but haven't looked that hard. ANY info would be great. Thanks

you can look on the bluetooth site true all those products and you would find nothing. sadly nobody dears to make such a product yet. when bluetooth begins its full mass market attack (when we see bluetooth in mid end phones) some things might be hitting the market, but it will take some time and they won't be cheap. i personally like the idea like you said, the more bluetooth every where the better

Well if thats the case, then I see the need for a company that is gong to produce all these things. I bet with the right market approach a company could get BMW and others to install bluetooth standard on thier systems(since most BMW users dont typically install an after market deck, no need to really)

Bluetooth is going to boom, one way or another...

I got some AWESOME ideas, who wants to be my business partner...(you kinda might need some capital, i dont have any). haha..

i dont know about bluetooth but you can get an actual kit for your car and im sure you can get one which you can link to your stero

if you cant get one to install i know for a fact car manufactures have car kits in the car which link to the stereo and they fade out when a call comes in

i havnt described it very well but if ypu would like more information i could look it up for you

On the more expensive stereos, there's a cell phone line in, that will cut the stereo when the line goes active. You could have some type of BT device that flicks this line on.

Why would you share songs between your phone and your own MP3 player? Maybe in your friends car, but if it's your own you made the CDR, so you'd just do it inside your house anyway.

I dun see a need to share MP3s of ur phone to ur car...... but there already were BT In-car-handsfree that is connected to ur car stereo.... go SE website and check.....

And for Fransiscofarabia........ that option is only in ur country, not all country were as rich as yours, therefore few dealers would do that. :)

i agree with some of the other replies:

sharing your mp3's from your handset to your incar audio player is silly.
