The GX-30 does hang up when you close it, but does not pick up when you open it while it's ringing.

By the way: closing the phone does not quit the application you're running or the menu you're in: they just reappear next time you open the phone.

Side effect: if you're browsing a web page and close your phone, pressing the up/down keys for 2 seconds won't turn on the LED. You'll have to open it, quit the browser, and try again.
