I was looking at a few phone on online auctions and noticed a message similar to this on a couple of them:
New LG KG 800 CHOCOLATE WHITE GSM CELL PHONE!
READY FOR USE!
will work on ANY GSM network using the 900/1800/1900 MHz Bands!!!
TriBand GSM 900/1800/1900 Mhz
Cingular/At&t users beware: Since this is missing the 850MHZ band, this phone will have no/bad reception in many areas.
before you buy this phone , make sure that tri band phones using the bands above, have good reception in the area you live, we will not be able to accept this phone as a return due to bad receptipn or no service.
so please be 100% sure that this phone works for you.
now I'm wondering if this also applies to t-mobile.. doesnt tmobile also have 850 roaming now? i live in los angeles/orange county and am wondering if this will effect me
thanks
