Lol did you make these up?
Anyways the 6250 already exists. It's a very old shock resistant phone.
I voted for a "89xx", which i believe will be the Nokia 8950, the successor of the 8910i. I can't wait for that...

Hopefullly the 8300 or 89xx is not a myth :) ... and I wish it would be equiped with a RS-MCC this time, a BT, 128x160 65k or higher screen, MP3/AAC player, VGA or MPixel camera with light:D that would be so sweet:p maybe I should hold my money on buying n6230 and wait for the 8xxx series that I really want;)

i dont really like rs mmc much... it means you cant put old mmcs into their slot and everyone has to start buying rsmmc with their adapters...
i'd love the 6230/6820 phone. would be quite cool... a keyboard phone with all the functions and at least a 640x480 vga

the things we know about the sucessor of the 8910i is that it's got a very new and intresting shape, not rectanglish. and offcourse metal body (no covers)
the 8300 or whatever the name will be will have parts of metal and plastic combined (covers), with a more flashy look...
both 8xxx series are a form factor upgrade with existing technologies, offcourse aimed for the premiun sector...
about screens and technologie can't say alot, because the lack of information, those things can change even in the last month before presenting this, and to make you more excited, we are close to the announcement...

Well some of this garbage is bound to come true considering its been known Nokia is going to release no less than 40 new phones this year.
The new series 40 phones are "platform 2"

1100 is already out in the UK - Verrrrry very basic. Monocrhome display, don't even think it has polyphonic ringtones, but I'm not sure..
Anyway for a price of 59.99 GBP sim free it's an ideal phone for a child. :)

Actually the Nokia 1100 is a very pretty phone, kind of reminds me of an iPod.
9xxx territory is pretty much reserved for communicators. Although there's bound to be a replacement for the 9500 already in development. Guessing model numbers is pointless, because Nokia 9xxx is also a designation for the Mediamaster range.
The 89xx replacement is a no-brainer, as is the 83xx mini phone. The current ones are laughably out of date.
Nokia still lack a decent 3G phone with twin cameras, indeed they only have the 6650 and 7600 and they're both pretty awful from a technical point of view. That's another no-brainer.
With 40 new phones to be launched, and a limited number of model numbers still available then it's fairly easy to make an educated guess. Of course, Nokia will always have some suprises up it's sleeve - I never saw the 7600 coming, that's for sure!

Does anyone else wonder what Nokia are going to do when they eventually run out of number designations for their phones? With the amount of phones they're releasing this year (as many people have pointed out it's rumoured to be 40) it won't be long before they've used all the possibilities up . . .

start over again, or add number, or letter, they can make it a T6600 and a S7200 and a P9500 etc... why not :)
but rather think they will start over again and again etc...
