Hello guys,

I'm planning on getting a S40 platform phone (probably the 6500 Classic) and I have a few questions that I hope all the Nokia gurus here can help me with:

1) Do most S40 phones have profile functions? I'm coming from a Sony Ericsson P990i, and hated it because it doesn't have profiles. I know that most phones nowadays do, but I just want to make sure, because it is one of the most important features for me.

2) Are there applications (I guess Java is the only option) for the S40 that can act as black lists or call filters? This is also another important feature to me, I know there are plenty on the S60 platform, but I like the simplicity of S40 (and the design of them too, like the 6500 classic and the 8000 series)

thanks in advance!

Yes Series 40 phones have multiple profiles (general, silent, meeting etc) and they can all be fully customised to whatever settings you want.
