Help with Nokia 6280

Ok after years of owning a trust worthy brick Nokia 3315, my friend gave me her 6280 cause she got a new phone or whatever.

Ive set my tone as a mp3 that i put on the phone and its a 4 minute song or something.

Problem is when someone rings my phone it only rings for about 12 seconds then it goes to my message bank.

Is there any way to increase the ringing time becuse 12 seconds really isnt a long amount of time

That problem could be your network provider and not the actual mobile problem

Also my message tone is set to a different song, and when i get a SMS, the entire song will play. Seems kinda stuid to have a ring tone last 12 seconds.

That could be a network problem as well as phone. Try to look it up in manual.
