do you have DVB-H mobile TV where you're located? If not, then the differences between the N95-8GB and the N96 wouldn't be as pronounced.

cheers!

OK thx, you know it's funny because today, i saw for the first time the advertising of the n95 8gb in my country. i live in france, it seems that it is available for a few times.
we always get the latest technology when all the others countries have already the next generation.

The n96, is better in that it has both an internal memory and a memory card slot - the first phone to do so, I think. But what's bugging me is that it has the SAME battery as the n95 classic! Does it mean that it will have the same problem as the n95? Why didn't nokia just put in the battery of the N82 or N95-8GB on it? I think that's a big mistake by them.

Samsung I300 has a big internal memory and a slot for flash memory too. :)

Apparently they've optimised the software that will run in the N96 to increase battery life as much as possible (particularly on video related features I think...)

the software might help but it is deffinitely the hardware that will make it better as far as power management is concerned... the N96 is using a different CPU from STMicroelectronics Nomadix line, whereas the N95 uses TI

By the way , you can try mobilebee.com to get N95 8GB
The cheapest price you've ever seen.
