n81 phone lock?

Have just got the n81 after upgrading from the e65,and n70. when i close the slide and it powers down usually on all nokia phones ive had the time and date are displayed,on the n81 its just a blank screen?
is there a setting so that when the phones idle,the time day and date are displayed?

Turn off the power saving mode.

Hi thanks cant find a setting to turn it off but setting it to 5 secs displays the date,time etc but only for about 20secs,then back to a blank screem.
On my other nokias the screen powers down but the time and date are still visible,e65,n70,n73 and n95.

No idea then. N73 did exactly the same thing (although it had a blinking blue LED when the screen powered off) and that had a setting to disable power saving. Maybe you can't on the N81?

Thanks anyway,yeah it does have a blinking light when power save is enabled.thanks

Sent the phone back not happy with some of the things on it,the keypad in particular,now have the n82 much better
