The 7610's silhouette isn't that bad after all. The keypad just looks a bit skewed. It does have a good screen though. Personally I'd prefer the white than the black version. Is it just me, or does the white 7610 look more..uhm..refined?
I don't like the maroon colored keypad of the 6255. Isn't it supposed to have a muted blue keypad?
The 7200's keypad looks ok. I just wish it had a bigger screen.

the 7200 still looks ever so nice and unique...

No overly sure on the 7610. I think it's got something to do with a "different" keypad design and I think it might take a fall like the 3650 kinda did. Give it time and they will bring out a 76XX with a traditional keypad. Just my tiny little thought there on a crappy British wet day :(

i don't think the keypath of the 7610 is that difficult, it's a little bit twisted but it's not like the 7600 or the 3650 where the key's are at a hole other place...

original looks do sell. 7610 looks very cool to me, as does 7200. 6255 a bit bland and external antennas are horrible, but then again, Americans are a bit bland..

I agree....7610 is a definate head turner. The white is nice and er...refined/femine. It looks like erm an "aristocratic" phone...all super stylised and everything.
I like the features. I would have prefered if it had infra red, as i liked the Remote Control features and sending business cards over i.r.
Cant wait till its out tho, im definately getting it...but I prob wont buy it till after the as exams cos I know i'll be more preoccupied with that rather than my revision.

I like the look of the 7610. I was originally planning on getting a gx30, but this seems to be a lot better, and has a more adventurous design. I currently have a 3650, and I got used to it's keypad very easily so this one should be no problem. :)
Like Jose_R.A.M I think I will wait until my exams are over, because it will just distract me :D

Interestingly, i actually find the white and bronze/yellow combination a lot more butch/masculine than the black and ruby red combo. With the exception of the white 7610 and the white 6610, I do find all other white nokia models appearing to be more feminine. Personally, I do prefer dark colored phones, just not the black and ruby red 7610.
Dude, in another thread here in the Nokia forum, there's supposedly a black and bronze 7610. It looks so much better than the ruby red and black and is a lot more masculine-looking.

Yeah, I've seen that one; looks cool too! Thinking more about it though, the plastic quality looks a bit cheap...but thats just from the photo...the onyxs all look cheap.
Even though i still think that the white and bronze/gold looks more feminine, I think it does look better than the onyx and bronze/gold/ruby partners because it doesnt look...erm...cheap.
The white one also looks more futuristic, and doesnt emphasise so much on the buttons like the onyx ones do.
The white one also looks smaller than the black....well, to me at least. If you look at the onyx and white at the sides, the white looks smaller because of the black band in the middle. (optical illusion thingy, good design from nokia)
Lastly the white reminds me of a Cadbury Dream White cholocate bar....especially with those buttons. Now thats just the perfect reason to get it!
They may be the same phone, but these subtle colour changes make a difference. I will be getting the white one when its out et quand les examens ont fini!

The 7610 keypad is not so bad. Comparisons with the 3650 are not fair at all.
I found the 7610 easier to use than the 7210, in reality. I could never get used to that thing.

That's funny. The 7210 has been the only phone that I learned how to type anything/everything without looking at the keypad. It had good tactile key differentation ...

i like the keypad of the 7610
the only problem i had with the 7210 was the backlighting...other than that, i agree that it had quite good tactile feedback.
