allright ive been researching about these 2 phones and come to a conclusion that if the 6600 had new video software and mp3 playing software its basically the same as 6230 except for size and price obviously, so wat other differences are there?

It all depends on what you want.
If you want a sleek business-phone with goodies on it (whilst still being a series 40 phone). Then go for the 6230 (I did).
If you want a more bulkier semi-pda-phone with even more goodies since it's symbian, then go for the 6600.
Personally the design (and I'm also talking thickness & size here) did it for me. I used to have a 7650 and whilst being more than a super phone, it was just too bulky to carry around everywhere!

also 6600 has a worse loudspeaker and its got bugs so u need to update firmware
6600 costs less
6230 has a better camera, although 6600 is more the "imaging" phone by name

I agree. Honestly, I wouldn't mind having both. I'm partial to the 6600 though.

6600 is more of a business phone than anything else. It was not made for MP3, imaging, or anything like that. It's a serious phone, that's why it's made nicely and looks normal.
The 6230 is aiming alot of the market. Youngsters & business. You can use it in all ways.
Differences:
The 6230 has stereo sounds, MP3 player, radio, more internal memory, and longer video recorder.
The 6600 has a bigger screen, no mp3, no radio, less internal memory, and only 11secs video rec for MMS. It also has a Symbian OS which lets you install alot of applications to make full use of your mobile. The 6230 has the very dumb series40 UI which is great for everyday use but no extra applications.
