SMS alerts on 6500 slide

Hi there,

I have just bought a 6500 slide. I was wondering if there is a way to have it alert me to missed calls and sms's? My previous phone beeped when I missed something, but this one does not seem to have that option.

Any help appreciated.

I think, it not alert to missed calls and SMS. I have never seen such function on S40...
