I am getting more confuse. I was going to buy N95 original, but later I received news about N95 8gb performs better. But now N82??
Can anyone suggest which one to buy?
Seems like N82 price will be cheaper than N95 8gb.
Also internal RAM 160mb vs 100mb?
and 2.4" LCD vs 2.8"LCD?
xenon flash vs normal flash?
Which one is better?

both are very capable and more or less the same in terms of functionality.
The ram is sufficient in both phones and 8gb memory card can be bought for n82
the only thing to decide is between the flash, the screen size and form factor
Since you know the +ves and -ves of both, its up to you to decide what suits you better.

I prefer the form factor and xenon flash of the N82.
maybe you could not use all the memory of N95 8GB, and you want to watch some films in 2.8" LCD, though is large enough to see a movie, but after the movie, you must be feel uncomfortable of your eyes~
my opinion is NONE of any different between N95 and N95 8GB.
what do you like of N82? for the zenon flash? for the form factor?
i refer to selet N82 caust the form factor is suit for me better...

I still remember when Nokia was about to release N95 or N95 8gb, you can easily find websites that discussing this phone months before it was actually released. Everyone seemed very excited waiting for N95 to be released. But this time, when Nokia released N82, I can hardly find website reviewing this phone. Everyone seems not so enthusiastic about this phone. Any reason behind it? Is it because N82 not consider as Nokia flagship?
For anyone who own N95 8gb, does it really that enjoyable to watch movie or maps from such large screen? or like some said that having to watch full length movie staring at screen such 2.8" is still very tiring.
Have anyone actually test the photo quality taken from N95 8gb and N82 in day light without flash? Some said that N95 8gb camera performs better in daylight, is it true?
Everyone was complaining the battery used in N95 (950mAH), and seems very happy with N95 8gb (1200mAH). What about N82 (1050mAH)? Why nokia not using same battery as N95 8gb, so in N82 the battery will last longer? Why reducing it in N82?
I apologize for my broken english.

If Nokia put the same battery from the N95 8GB in the N82, the N82 would be bigger.
This blogger can compare the N95 and N82

While this blogger has both the N95 8GB and N82, but hasnt really done a comparison yet

all features work the same including gps. Movies...well it really depends if youre going to watching so many movies on the move, plus the phones could never really have enough juice to last a 120 min movie plus your usual phone usage, i cant give the exact amount to battery life for this kind of use but from my experience with my n95 i wouldn't dare use to see it a movie and the N95 8gb battery in reality has only 18-20% more juice. Maybe few short clips or 20 min episodes would be fine.
As for the battery in N82 remember it has a smaller screen so it all evens out.
Like i said just decide between the flash, the screen size and form factor and you will have your answer.
p.s. the hype for the n82 is less because it doesnt offer something that hasnt been offered before, unlike the n95 in its time and we phone lovers are a difficult bunch to please:p so that doesnt diminish the capabilities of the N82 in any way

Well, you are right about no new technology has been introduced by Nokia through N82 except the use of xenon flash . But lots improvement from N95 8gb. has been made especially the booting speed, the camera shutter speed. Also from the website I've visited so far, not many people complaining about bugs found in this phone, not like N95 8gb, so I suppose there should be more review from phone lovers that give a big thumb to this phone :).

mmm..... well, you have to ask yourself first, do you mind having a slider phone or not.
If you dont mind it... then get the n95 classic. On its current v20, it's awesome. Faster, more memory and more batt life - and with its current price, it's a bargain. Sure, the n95 8GB is nice too. But the 'classic' gives you a lens cover, and a memory card slot.
Now if you do mind having a slider... then get the n82. It has everything the n95's has, but on a slightly smaller screen.
cheers!

That sums it up pretty well really.
If the photography aspect is very important to you then definitely get the N82, it wins hands down there (I own an N95 and used an N82 for a couple of days at Nokiaworld). If that isn't a high priority for you then it really comes down to form factor, overall I prefer the N95 form factor (largely due to its larger screen), but thats a very subjective thing that only you can judge for yourself.

now, 1 more factor you need to consider between N82 vs N95 8gb:
Seems that HW and FW N82 is more solid and stable compare to N95 8gb. You hardly seen people complaining about HW and FW fault in N82. Where as N95 8gb, until now, even few FW upgrade already, still many complains.

Thats true generally speaking, although if you look a little deeper more users are gradually finding bugs and problems with the N82 also.
Have to compare the number of people complaining with the number of people with the phone. In the UK, the major carriers are not really supporting the N82, so it is not going to be as popular here as the N95 8GB...
so if you want a more exclusive phone, it's probably the N82
