Ive had the phone now for a few weeks and i am dissapointed with the camera performance. My k800 takes better pics than my k850, the colours are so dull and washed out. Not happy at all

cant say Im surprised to hear you say that... just read the posts about the k850 in other forums, you'll find that you're not alone on that opinion.
I think SE really needs to step up... as it stands now, they're loosin it big time to a non-camera-centric phone like the N95 and E90.

Im really happy with the phone and i think my flash syncs ok but the colour in the photos is so dull, maybe a new firmware will fix this problem. They need to release a new FW fast, so many people complaining about the phone and i think most people are only putting up with it because they are loyal to SE like myself

It might just be our handsets but I've noticed the interface isn't as "smooth" as previous handsets. Has anyone else noticed?

I have it today as a buyer just bought one
It arrived at my house today
The keypad hurts your finger
The touch screen is rather annoying
The promotional video from their website showed that the k850i glow in the side but in real life its like cheap plastic on the side
The picture quality of the camera stinks
The flash doesn't work with the shooting
BAD phone.Doesn't work $4300HK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

for those who are saying the colours seem washed out, change the light balance from automatic to something else, as with all camera phones in the past I've had to play around with the settings before I get satisfactory pictures.
I think changing the lighting to Fluorescent was a tip someone once wrote on another forum.
I found the flash works perfectly on mine, sometimes I manage to cover the flash with my middle finger and so it's only my fault, never had a bad photo in poor light, maybe the photolight for videos could be better, as when filming videos in low light isn't helped much.
The touch screen is taking some getting used to for me, I keep pressing the right softkey when trying to press the "C" button. Plus locking and unlocking the keypad can prove troublesome.
Overall I think this phone is getting a bit of a bum rap recently, as my first proper camera phone (compared to 2mp walkman phones) it's rather good, excellent for photos and comparing it to the nokia n95 it has a lot less bugs, (lack of RAM, not as detailed photos, shocking battery life)
