My N95 has been acting up since yesterday. The screen changes colour , the orientation changes upside down and sometimes the screen just goes blank. The last thing i did before the problem occured was change the theme from Nseries 1 to Nseries 2.
I removed the battery and reinserted it after 10 min but it did not fix the problem so i updated my firmware from 11 to 12 but the problem persists.

What can done? Please help.

Your best bet is to get it serviced.

Otherwise, try taking it apart and reconnecting the screen with the mainboard.
If that doesn't work, I would recommend ordering a new LCD. There are no guarantees that would work either.

Damn, this happened all of a sudden and now its gone completely blank.
I hope this is covered under warranty.

the stupid Nokia Care tells me it is water damage when i havent once let water touch it. Plus its been in its protective case ever since i bought it. Then they blamed it on internal perspiration due to heavy usage! Heck itsnt N95 with all its features meant for heavy usage. This is ridiculous they say they wont cover it under warranty and they want me to pay 80$ for repair.

Ok i have been researching online and i have found many people with the same problem and quite a few who were lucky enough that Nokia replaced the screen and in some cases the phone absolutely free.
The thing is moisture could be getting into the device due to the large panel gaps on the side of the screen so it could be a manufacturing defect.
Even though i forwarded them the links to over 10 different people experiencing the same problem and some able to get their screens replaced for free, Nokia India doesnt want to listen, i am left with no choice but to pay up.
There has to be a way to get through to Nokia
