How to install games and application in Sony Ericsson W810i

I have download games and application from the internet in my Pc for my Sony ericsson W810i, Can any one tell me how can i install these games and application in my cell phone. (these games and application are computable for SE W810i)

connect your phone to the computer via usb and enter disk mode or file storage (can't remember what it's called) then move all the games and applications to the folder called "other" then on your phone go to the other folder and open the *.jar files, they get installed on your phone/memory card and can then be run.

I know I'm a bit hazy on details but it's been a while since I've used a w810
