Questions before buying an N800

Hi:

I'm interested in this, (currently have an Archos 605wifi- which I like, but I want/need the Skype feature of the N800).
I have a few question about the n800:
(1) Does it play 800x480 video - I read somewhere that although the screen is 800x480 it doesn't play it back.
(2) if it does play back 800 x480 video - is it choppy- how is the video playback quality?
(3) Is it instant on? (the archos 605 wifi boot up is annoying)
(4) when playing video - does it return to where you left off (or restart from the beginning) - the Zune recalls where you left off.
(5) Ditto for .mp3 playback (important for listening to lectures to be able to pick up where you left off)
(6) Can it play DVD files (stored on the SD cards)?

I just got one. The videos I made for my N95 dont run on the N800.
I dont think the music player has resume.
Not recommended as a personal media player.
