Ok so I switched over to the new Helio Fin since my contract ended with Cingular and I was not happy anymore with either my treo 650 or cingular 8125. I am not sure if I like the Helio Fin/Helio service. I like the photos it takes, google maps, the unlimited data/text and how small the phone is. The fact that I ul pics right to my flickr is pretty neat too. However the reception and quality of the calls are not as good as Cingulars and the battery life is horrific on this phone. I also do no like the buttons and miss my QWERTY. So do I try the Helio Ocean or do I return the phone within the 30 day happiness guarantee period and go back to Cingular (which at the moment I do not see any phones that interest me immensely other than the hyperexpensive nokia n95, but even then does not utilize all the features since it is not Cingular branded and do not have a good minutes/data plan for me)? THANKS IN ADVANCE TO ANYONE, would especially love to hear from any Helio Ocean users...

My reception in my city (Portland) has been excellent, the reception when I went west to the Oregon Coast was excellent, and my trip to Denver Colorado, Gunnison Colorado, and all through Utah, had excellent reception.

The Qwerty board is awesome, the GPS maps works great, the push-email and instant messaging rule, the way i can just take it out of my pocket, type in a word, and have search results come up from Yahoo's search engine, Google's search engine, and Wikipedia's search engine rules, and it's awesome that i could fit four movies on my microSD card (2 MB). I watched Sin City on my flight to Denver (in "airplane mode"), with headphones, and it was awesome.

There's so much I love about the Ocean. My wife just got a Fin, and though it's lighter in the pocket, I could never go back to a non-Qwerty phone, and the Ocean's service has more than satisfied me so far.

best,
