No offense, but you're just making it harder for yourself then. eBay is a reputable and great place to find replacement parts and such, as long as you have enough sense to find the right seller.

As for helping you find another place, where are you even located?

As CCT said eBay can be great if you're careful. I'd consult your place or purchase or the closest Nokia Dealer/Reseller/Care Centre.

perfect place to go to is CNN.CN (http://cnn.cn/shop/index.php). he sells parts for almost every phone possbile. i bought my N95 battery cover replacement from him. click here (http://cnn.cn/shop/nokia-n95-c-24_261.html) for N95 parts.

This is exactly why I hate that flimsy plastic catch on the back. If it wasn't for the fact that my N95 has been replaced a few times, I would probably have to be looking for a replacement for the battery cover too (I've got 3 out of 4 left on this one.)

Here's some battery covers, not from eBay:

btw, guys, does anyone know if the dummy N95 has exactly the same build on the housing as the original? If so, you could just get one of those and just swap either just the battery cover or even the whole housing(all the back part).

The dummy phones (that we get at least) LOOK the same, but that's where the similarity ends. The plum (and I assume sand as well) covers have a rubber-feel coating on them. The dummy looks like it does but feels different. Also, the battery cover is glued to the back of the phone and there's no way to have it stay securely on a real one. There are a number of other issues that I wont mention as they don't relate to this thread.

hey thanks every one for the and advice from what i can gather cnn looks to the best bet simply cause the ship to america

imo the n95 rocks except for the horrible battery and battery cover they made a phone whit a horrible battery so of course we are going to buy extra batteries. but the build quality of the cover is so weak it cant handle being opened more than once a month

the n93 is great but its too freaking big the e90 is also great but to fricken big how about a new bigger battery for the n95

I keep my 2nd micro SD card under the battery cover.

Since I only have two 1 GB micro SD cards, I have to hotswap often. My battery cover seems as good as the day I got mine.

The updated N95 will have a battery that has a larger battery, maybe you should sell yours now.

Why not just get one 2GB card since you have to keep switching anyway?

I would buy from nokia directly

I bought a back faceplate for a nokia n70 on ebay .It stated nokia on the faceplate but I realise it was a fake later after I took it to Nokia to have the phone repair and the faceplate replace. The faceplate they showed me was a slighly different color than the one on ebay.Hmmm Fishy

I'm waiting for Amazon to carry the 4 gb sdhc cards (I have an Amazon gift card) or maybe the 8 gb cards. Whichever comes first.
