Mobiola Microphone Review.

Mobiola’s Microphone is an application that allows the user to use the mobile’s microphone as a computer’s microphone using Bluetooth. It is similar to using the phones camera as a computer’s webcam.

This program has two applications. One goes on the PC and the second goes on the phone. Installing the PC application will offer you to register or a 7 day trial.

The second stage of installation asks for the port, usually the Bluetooth port should come up automatically.

After completing installation and set-up, the program shows status information such as; Steam speed, status, Errors, Audio level, com port, etc and it allows you to set the volume and mute.

Then after having the program set up, the application needs to be installed and started on the phone.

To start using the phone’s microphone, press “Options” and “Connect” and it will connect to the application on the PC. Note: the PC program has to be on. The first time I tried to connect I had to connect from both the PC and the phone, but after that, just connecting from the phone automatically connects with the program.

Pressing “Connect” this screen will show up, once connected, the status will be mentioned below (on the E90) and on top (on ordinary S60 devices)

Once connected, all status will change on the PC, and the icon on the taskbar will turn green (Circled in the image below)

This program is nice and simple to use. The quality was good and towards the edge of the Bluetooth range the quality was quite good too. I tested the program with a recorder and Msn messenger and seemed very good. The image in the background of the program has doubled side-by-side to fit the screen which could have just been one image instead of that, makes it seems just a little less professional.

Experience: The program is very stable and compatible with the E90 perfectly, and it was easy to set up and pair. Thing is for me, I have a microphone on my laptop and on my PC so it wasn’t very useful. I liked the program even though I don’t have a specific need for it. Some people might find it useful. The program is cheap at around 10$ but might not be very high at people’s wanted list.

The program tested was a trial and not a full version although it was fully functional.
