OK, so now my N95 will just randomly reboot itself. I have it sitting here on my desk in front of me, and I see it light up. Thinking that the phone is about to ring, I look at it, only to see the NOKIA symbol pop up, and watch the phone reboot.
This is the second time I have caught this. Does anyone else have this problem now as well?
*edit*
and before anyone asks, the only 3rd party app I have installed is Calcium. (A freeware symbian calculator.)

I didn't experience a crash until I put about 1GB video and 1/2GB music onto the N95. Then it would randomly restart within the music player after about an hour of listening via BT headset and playing about with the music buttons.
Have you been able to manually replicate the crash/isolate what's causing it or is it just completely random?

Have you been able to manually replicate the crash/isolate what's causing it or is it just completely random? No, I'm literally doing NOTHING to the phone. It was just sitting there in front of me and decided to reboot. This is the second time I've caught it. I wonder if it's doing this in people's pockets without them even knowing. When the phone comes back up, it doesn't even play the jolly Nokia tune. It just slowly loads the desktop (WAY slower than normal) and then it looks as if nothing has even happened.
I have heard people say that V12 has worse battery life. Maybe this is a reason...

Crumbles,
You seems to have a lot of problems on your N95 from version 10 to 11 to 12
From the whole lots of your complain i pick up few examples:
Crumbles's N95 version 10
I was mowing the lawn a while ago listening to MP3's with my headset. I got a call in the middle of it, and my phone just rebooted. (jose, I use the standard Nokia ringtone that everyone hates... doo do doo do doo do doo do doo do doo do doooooo!)
HOWEVER.....
That was on the v10 firmware. I have not tried to duplicate this with the new v11 firmware.
Crumbles's N95 on Version 11
"Startup failed, contact retailer."
and it just freezes. My eyes grow wide with disbelief. I start freaking out. I take the battery out of the phone, and then boot it again and everything boots up normally this time.
What in the world? Should I just shrug this off and ignore it?
And now version 12. Gosh!
Have you ever thought that you may have purchased a faulty unit?

Have you ever thought that you may have purchased a faulty unit? It's possible. Even if I have there's nothing I can do about it. The phone works for the most part. If I send it in to Nokia they will just reflash it with V12 and send it back to me anyway. If I were able to switch out the phone I would consider it, however, that's not going to happen. :(
