Still on the pills my friend - how a giant company like Sony can get it that wrong is beyond me...

That's the most frustrating piece of software I've ever laid my eyes upon. Sonny Connect and Sonic Stage, they cripple the hell out of the music players.
How the hell are people supposed to enjoy their new Walkman when they cannot even put songs on it? And try to sync with your PC, you have a 90% chance of SS going skitzo and deleting all your music.
This NW-E010 with Swarovski Crystals would make a nice gift, no? (Is it too early to think about Christmas Shopping? :p)

I think some of the more recent Sony players are drag'n'drop compatible... this means they will synch perfect with Windows Media Player 11... but of course Sony don't advertise that! WMP11 is actually pretty awesome, I'd highly recommend it over iTunes.
I'll be interested to have a go of the new Zune software (has an awesome interface, check it out (http://www.winsupersite.com/showcase/zune2_screens.asp)) but until then I'm sticking with Foobar2000.
