Hi...

Is there any way to copy the messages in the inbox and the sent items...to another phone maybe..or more importantly to be able to save them and re-send them to your phone after formating it?? (not to lose the messages when u format)

On the Nokia PC Suite, you have a BACK-UP option. It will back-up everything including Messages, and when you format your phone do a RESTORE and it will restore everything back again :)
