I've read the review, and Its made me think twice to getting this phone - I don't 'need' any of the features , as alot of people need too, but liked the look of the phone.
However now I'm not sure whether to get this , or the Siemens SL55
which would you get and is the t610 worth buying?
thanks.
I personally would buy the T610 over the SL55 because you get more features for around the same money.
The T610 has a larger screen with 65k colours (SL55 only has 4k colour screen), it also has bluetooth and an inbuilt camera as well, also I personally prefer the look of the T610 over SL55.
But if you don't need or more importantly want :D the extra features of the T610 then it just comes down to which one you think looks better

cheers, the more i hear about the t610, the more i like the sound of it!!
how bad IS the screen on it though?
I know its never exactly 'sunny' in wales, but i dont want to be getting something which i have to strain to see - I'm used to the colour screen of the Samsung T100 now - how does it compare?

I wouldn't worry about it in Wales....
Even I, somebody who is no fan of the T610, will admit that it would be just fine in the sunny UK....
Signal reception, on the other hand, might be an issue. Your milage may vary....

The best way to check that out would be to get your hands on either a friends or co-workers phone and compare the screen of the the T610 with the T100.
If you don't know anyone with a T610 just go into a mobile phone store and tell them that you are interested in the T610 but that you want to try one out first, just have a play around with it and see if you like the screen

If you're used to the Samsungs screen then don't even bother looking at the SL55. It has the dullest screen I've seen even with 4K colors. A co worker bought one and gave it to me to set up. I was really disappointed with its screen, menu and its build quality.

I had considered the SL55 as an alternative to the T610 until I actually got to play with one (my brothers ex bought one).
Its an alright phone, but I found the keypad hellish to use and I don't even have particularly big hands... Also, being a T100 owner I don't think I could bring myself to downgrade to 4096 colours, it just seemed too cartoony...
Aside from that, its a nice, stylish (if a little girly) phone. I'm still getting the T610 next month tho. :D
