Guys,
I just got myself a W950i, mainly as it was majorly discounted with a new contract.
Anyhow, after having been listening to my iPod shuffle for the past few months, I was hoping that the walkman brand would be comparable in terms of sound quality. Must say that I am disappointed. The W950 is not very loud to begin with, the sound is rather tinny and the 'Mega Bass' is totally a gimmick. This is with the included HPM-82 headset.
On the other hand, my iPod Shuffle has a much fuller body, packs considerable bass with the included headphones and the overall sound is much richer.
Anybody having experience with SE walkman phones and ipods care comment. Maybe its just the W950 owing to its smartphonish hardware?
