Dear Everybody
I need help. I purchased an imported mobile phone QTEK 1020 special edition. The technical specification posted in Rediff shopping said it supports GSM 900/1800 But the manual says it supports GSM 900 and PCS 1900 (GSM 1900) I want to know which operators in Chennai city of India support this frequency. I know PCS 1900 is not supported in India. Which operators in Chennai circle support GSM 900. I don't want to sign up to a crappy operator. Can somebody help ( Will Hutch or Airtel support this GSM 900 band) I heard that Airtel has dual band networks installed in many circles. Have they installed it in Chennai circle. Airtel did not respond to the email I sent them to.
So please help. What shall I do.
