hi there, safari 3 beta is out now for the PC... for those using it, what do you think? Is it really fast? More efficient maybe?

It's not faster at all. In fact, in some pages, it's even slower than FF. On some pages it doesn't work too.

I like it's appearance though. But I think I'll stick to using FF and Opera.

It was really slow! I think it's only fast if you're using Vista? I went back to using Opera.

It keeps hanging on me...it's twice or even three times slower than IE 7, and many pages don't even load. Apple's full of it, trying to market it as being infinitissimally faster than IE or even FF. Put your money where your mouth is, Steve Jobs!

I dont like the fact that it retains most of it's MacOS programming elements such as very very limited right click menu that's non-existant on some areas, resizing the window can only be done from the bottom right corner, still refers to Apple-specific keys like "option" etc.

Besides, I'm a Firefox devotee and only use IE7 when accessing work email.

I hated it, but then again I had been running ie7 with a Safari skin for months when I did. (thank you windowblinds)

I use firefox at work and ie at home, never seem to have any problems unless I use ie in work and it's really slow for some reason.

I am not using Safari. Because it is very slow. People use browser, because it was Apple's product. I am using Mozilla firefox. It is very fast and user friendly.

Went back to FF after about 10min of it. I'll wait to see how it develops

I just tried it just now

Its faster than Opera 8.27 however it should be roughly the same speed as Opera 9.50

I do not like its user interface. The fonts are big and ugly and the grey toolbar.God..I wanna vomit on their web designers!

I dont like how everything is layout

I will stick with opera
