Levi's Cellphone Finally Revealed to Worldwide Mehs

That Levi's cellphone (yes, the jean company) we told you about last October has finally been unveiled. To us it looks like a knockoff of a Sony Ericsson, complete with silver, black and brown trim and "shiny silver" and "shiny sand" editions.

Unlike when fashion house Prada joined heads with LG and made the Prada Phone, Levi's solution doesn't look fashionable or cutting edge. Normally we'd complain about phones only being released in Europe and not the US, but in this case we'll save our groans for another day. – Jason Chen

We love our Levi’s, so much so that we remember when they were referred to as (and carried the tag of) “levi’s.” This phone has to have been made with us in mind. The Paris based ModeLabs Group’s stainless steel phone will feature a standard TFT screen, MP3 player, 2 mp camera, and will come in black, silver, and brown copper, like the rivet, with a detachable chain. ModeLabs will also be offering a “shiny” silver and sand model for, as they put it, “the fashion forward.” Available in Europe this September, you can catch a peek at the hand-assembled patch on the back of The Levi’s Phone on their demo.

Suprised they haven't used a bespoke material for the main case...but the rivet is cool...

It looks a network data card or something with the top part being different colored. I can't say that I like it. It's not at all appealing, even on the basis of looks. Then again I don't like Levis to being with.
