Dopod 838 Updated ROM Issues

Hello All,

I'm new here so I would like to know did anyone (Especially Dopod 838 Users) have problems when updating Dopod 838 to the newest ROM?

On the Dopod Asia Website, the following information was given:

Dopod 838 Rom Code (2006/04/19)
ROM version: 2.21.13.1 WWE
ROM date: 03/09/06
Radio Version: 02.19.11
Protocol Version: 4.1.13.09
ExtROM version: 2.21.13.102

But after I have updated the ROM the following problems occur:

- I have WEP security set up on my AP router at home, and thats been setup on the Dopod ok I think (Because before I updated the ROM, I still can access the Internet via WiFi with WEP security)
- Now, when I go into the Settings to "configure wireless networks" it says I am "connected"
- in Wireless LAN, "Advanced", "Status" is now "Associated to network" instead of previously "connected to network"

Can anyone out there help? As I have try to contact Dopod Asia but they can't help me. Thanks again

If possible, hard reset both the router and phone, then configure everything from fresh.

You can also try using the much safer WPA, has been working with my 838 on the same ROM for almost a year without problem, :)

Thanks Shun. I have try it few times to hard reset it but it still have the same problems.

Also, I try to access the Internet via hotspot in town with the same result. 838 Keep saying that I'm "Associated to Network" but the browser still show blank and now even my POP3 e-mail can't receive.
