Hi
Whenever I am using GPRS on my T610, either for WAP or just a GPRS data connection the phone is not able to receive any phone calls, even though I have the setting "Allow calls" in all GPRS Data Accounts set to "Automatic".
Whatever setting I try, whenever the phone is on GPRS it displays an icon showing that I cannot receive any incoming calls, and the phone is not reachable on the GSM network - not 'engaged' but completely invisible (~out of range).

I checked with my GSM operator Aria in Turkey, who told me that there is no such limitation on their network. I then checked agaist a Nokia 8310 phone - same SIM card and GPRS connections - and it had no problems receiving a phonecall during a GPRS session. The 8310 just puts GPRS on hold an reconnects after the call.

My T610 SW is release R1L013 - I checked it. Why can't I receive calls when on GPRS, has anyone got an idea? Thanks.

Just double check:
Select Menu -> [CONNECTIVITY] -> [DATA COMM.] -> [DATA ACCOUNTS] -> [Connection which is used to connect to GPRS net] -> [EDIT] -> [ALLOW CALLS].
Perhaps only set the actual GPRS account you are using to Auto

Automatic = Possibility to receive call during GPRS connection
GPRS only = Not possible to receive call during GPRS connection
