Hey,
I recently bought a brand new K610i and it's unlocked, but was originally intialized by the 3G network. I am using a vodafone SIM in it and there are all these shortcuts to the 3G service. For example, on standby screen the left key gets me to my calls, while instead of the menu on the right key, there is a 'Planet 3' icon and when pressed opens the browser to take me to the the site.

So my question is, is there anyway to get rid of this? or any way to change it so that its for vodafone?

Regards
Tom

Think this is just based on firmware, so get it unlocked, put on new firmware and your sorted.

I just went to the Sony Ericsson website and downloaded their updater. I updated my software but the 3 initialization still remains. Where can i download firmware that is neutral or set for vodafone sims??

Thanks
Tom

You can flash it with generic firmware through the software and logs from http://davinciteam.com/, but it isn't really for beginners.
