Mobility at CES 2007 keynote of Bill Gates : Microsoft in self-denial about market position of Windows Mobile phones

During the keynote Bill Gates was gesticulating emotionally:

.... and was inviting managers from various areas of Microsoft business to talk in more detail about these areas. One of these managers was Robbie Bach who is a manager responsible for Entertainment and Devices Division (Xbox, Zune and also Windows Mobile):
"Robbie Bach also said that Windows Mobile phones are outselling BlackBerry devices what created false impression that Microsoft is number one in smartphone market. This false impression he further reinforced when he was summarizing his speech and mentioned that Windows Mobile has "leadership position". In reality however in global smartphone market Windows Mobile has rather small market share - below 20%, Symbian having over 70%."
