I think almost most people, especially here at MB, own more than 1 phone. Im curious, do you like use them all at the same time? Or do you use them one at a time only?

Surprisingly, I only use one at a time. I always have one main phone that I always go back to (currently an N73), but when I review a phone I use it full-time to really get a handle on what it is like in real-world conditions. I do have several SIM cards laying around though...

I use only one phone too. The others are in "storage" haha :D

Just two - N93 and N73, and then a bunch of other 'dumb phones' as spares (for calling the phone which I have misplaced around the house)

I don't use them simultaneously :p unless I'm trying to compare something, like performance over a certain application.

More often than not, I'm bringing using my N93 - I like the added option of being to browse WiFi when I'm in environments with accessible Hot Spots (Mobile Internet through GPRS/WAP is way too expensive - 3G ...well if you can get coverage with O2, Threes fine, but still expensive)

A single phone is plenty for me, I can't be bothered to swap SIM's or MMC's constantly. I repo-ed my 6682 from my wife til my E70 comes back. Her and I both have a spare phone as well, a T68i and a T720i. My current horrendous experience w/nokia is questioning my hobby with smartphones.

oh BTW, its nice to be be able to reply again hehehe haven't been able to go online since 1700!!! hehehe anyway so right now i am using my XDA IIs, XDA Atom and Nokia 3230, selling my Nokia 6111 and might sell my Nokia 3230 in a few months and get the N73 music edition :)
i have used two at the same time (never 2 XDA at the same time, always with 3230) well two since i only got two hands and one opposable finger for each :D

I only use one phone daily. I have around 3 to 5 phones on "standby" just in case there's a need to use them simultaenously. I agree with robii - changing sims or memory cards can be a hassle sometimes.

I think owning just one phone is a thing of the past. Most people I know has 2 phones at least.

But like everyone here - I dont carry more than 1 phone around. One phone ringing and beeping almost all the time is already a handful. I'll just get confused if I have 2 or 3 with me.

I have about 10 phones, but like Jose_R.A.M. said they're mostly dumb phones. I usually stick to one phone at a time...I hate straining my SIM card even more than I already have so I would rather not switch too much. Plus it's a hassle trying to keep both phones sync'ed and everything. I hate it when I'm between phones and the phone I'm using at the moment doesn't have the contact or calendar info I had on the other phone!

The only time I was using two phones at one time was when I had both my T-Mobile USA account and my Globe (Philippines) prepaid, but that didn't last very long especially upon returning to the States because keeping it loaded was just such a hassle. Right now I guess I use my Nokia 1100 in addition to my E70 because it's my battery charger :p

I should mention that while I only use one at a time, there is God-knows how many phones actually lying around here. I didn't realize we were talking about those as well :)

Me too, one phone at a time only. I have quite a number of phones that's kept around (back at their boxes)... but on some occasions, if there's a need, I would use 2 sometimes 3 at the same time.

cheers!

i have 3 phones but only use 1 at the time since im not willing to pay to have 2 phones plus i dont have the need to use 2 at the same time, but since i just got my N80 and i havent gotten the chance to install games or softwares on it, ive been carrying my 6133 that has few games that would keep me busy at work while being bored, so i carry 2 phones but only one for entertainment and one for actual use

3 phones always on (1 Blackberry) but I don't have a belt full just pockets full...

Think those who mount a host of devices on their belts look very silly indeed...

I only have one phone. As soon as I buy a new one, my old phone is inherited by a family member, since my phones are almost always up-to-date. I started with a Nokia 2160, then a Nokia 6160, 8290, 5120, 9290 and now I am using a 7610 and waiting for the N95 to start shipping (don’t forget I live in Bolivia). My company pays my bill, so I do not need another phone, since my personal use is minimal and is covered by my company too.

More than once I thought of buying another phone, especially when I was using the 9290. It was to big to carry to a football (soccer) field…

i have two phones and sims but i hardly use my 2nd phone..
i used to have a lot of phones lying around but i ended up selling them all.. phones loose value soo fast so its pointless keeping them if theyre not needed. one thing i do like doing though is taking pictures of all the phones i get...

Tell me what you guys think (http://picasaweb.google.com/zalameh1)

i tried to sell it, but no luck... i got a really good deal when i bought it almost 2 years ago (around 2 months after it came out) so im not loosing alot by keeping it. its a good phone to keep as a backup..

Boy do I feel like the odd one out of the bunch using such old phones, but I keep two handy at all times: an LG LX350 (company paid phone from Sprint) and a Nokia 6230 (that I bought in 3/05) that now has a Cingular GoPhone SIM inside for backup.

That is not to mention the 'ol TDMA Nokia 1261 I keep in my glove box in case of emergencies (sporting 4 shades of grey!)

In total I have 5 phones (Motorola i90c, Nokia 1261, Nokia 6010, Nokia 6230, and LG LX350)

Well my n93 is dead...well dying everytime I touch it.

It´s been having a big strop since CES and seeing ll that competition :p

I wonder what crap if any cpw will give me as a temp replacement? (i doubt i'll use it, cos it's normally something über basic tha it can't store more than 1 message...)

So looks like I'm back to n73...the last smartphone......(if only the n800 was a gsm phone!)

They should definitely do something for your N93...I mean you've only had it for 4 months! What about invoking the warranty with Nokia?

Well my n93 is dead...well dying everytime I touch it.

If I may ask... what happened?

A virus? Had gotten wet? Faulty batt? Bungled flashing? Was it dropped unintentionally?

:(

I fear I'm somehow going to end up back to a dumb phone as my main phone...fancy lending me one of your 8 Jayesh :p haha

They should definitely do something for your N93...I mean you've only had it for 4 months! What about invoking the warranty with Nokia?

I'm going Wednesday to see if CPW wil do something about it. I mean they should... - I did report the auto off bug within 2 hours of ownership - I just chose not to swap since when I was about to, it disappeared.

If I may ask... what happened?

A virus? Had gotten wet? Faulty batt? Bungled flashing? Was it dropped unintentionally?

:(

I have no idea. It may have been when I sent several sample images (and didn't view them) from the N76/N95/N93i because after I did that, the whole auto off thing started.

It's much worse now, in that I don't have to do anything for my N93 to spontaneously die. It just goes off randomly - so it's pretty useless as a phone.

But not to let my N93 feel lonely, yesterday afternoon my N800 also went dead.:p Well it's stuck on this constant "Nokia Reboot Screen of Aggravation"...a sort of side symptom not far away from WSOD. That was also pretty random, and, judging on other users' experience, it's actually quite common.

:eusa_clap: Nokia.

Lol, I guess that time, I got what I paid for:p (Joke) I'm gonna try and reflash it....just waiting for the battery to be "full" which is going to be some task since I have no idea when that will be (due to a static Nokia Logo filled screen) Aah...and my experience with the N800 was so very good...I guess it's also one of those "If it's too good to be true..." lolol haha!

edit: phew, got my N800 back ^_^

I'm currently using the SE K790a, but I have a couple on standby: Nokia 6682 and 6310 (the one with GPS and a Compass...not sure on the model #)

In the ultra cold storage I have a SE z725a(hrmm I'm bad w/ model #s) that I dropped into something unpleasant but retrieved anyway and a v600.

My dad's inherited my SMT6500.

So that makes (counts fingers): 6!
