T-mo Dash

I was playing around with the dopod branded version of the t-mo dash a couple of days back.. seemed to be a solid phone, good response from the keypad, has wifi et all.. only screw up was that the camera sucked!! but is the phone worth the money??

i used the dash for about a month. i did not like it at all. i was used to s60and pocket pc so maybe that is why but mine did seem to have a lot of bugs. thought i would give wm5 a try. wish i hadn't. it would require powering off to get it to behave properly about once every 2 days. the dopod and htc excalibur run differernt firmware so they may not be so buggy. but i would not recommend the dash.

You didn't contact T-Mobile or anything to get a replacement or something? Might've just been defective...

thats very possible, i'm just not one to complain to carriers about phones. i don't usually buy carrier phone models so i just replaced it with a w950i and gave the dash to a friend.

well he got it for free so i don't think he would complain to me even if he didn't like it. so i'm guessing he is ok with it.

anyone used the dopod version?? im thinking of giving winmo 5 a try. the winmo2003 smartphone edition was okay (not as a main phone)..
