On my cingular blackjack (windows 5.0) the aim away message is always "i am currently not responding to messages at this time". Is there any way to change that?

You have to have an active gprs or edge connection to be using AIM. also, AIM doesn't let you have both your computer, and your phone to be "logged on" at the same time. to be honest, the only version of AIM that I have seen work well is the sidekick version. I even used Yamigo w/ my w800 and my n80, and I just gave up, besides, I never use aim anyway.
check to makesure that your settings allow aim to access internet w/o permission.
