Hi,
My cousins and their friends are going to the US this January. I want to ask, what carrier would be the best choice, one that has the best 1900mhz coverage? They want to use their 6680's, N70, N73, N90 and 6600's while they're in California - and from what I know none of those phones have 850mhz.
Thanks for any advice.

mmm... since we're on the same subject of askin which carrier is the best in 1900... I'd like to ask too, which carrier has wcdma 3G?
(a friend of mine mentioned in passing that the 3G in asia is different from the 3G in the states? Is this true?)
cheers!

WCDMA/UMTS is different in the US than in Asia, as we use different frequencies YET AGAIN from the rest of the world. We use 850/1900MHz and soon 1700/2100MHz (different 2100MHz though) with the recent FCC 3G Auction. Read this article for more explanation: http://www.phonescoop.com/articles/aws/
Going back to the question, 1900 coverage should be fine as you would still roam on T-Mobile or Cingular either way. And actually the N73's quadband. Are they going to roam internationally or get a local SIM card? I'm using a 1900MHz-only phone (E70) and I'm fine...for the most part.
