Nokia pop-port problem

I owned a nokia n70 before my current N80. I realize that after a while, connection of the cable to the phone's pop-port has gotten loose, both on my n70 and n80.

Am I plugging it in and out the correct way? is there anything i could do to "tighten" the connection?

I think not. Is that way. The problem is the Pop-port system. I think that Nokia realize that, and is changing to miniUSB.

darn. It's annoying how I keep getting disconnected from the PC Suite. I sure wouldn't want that to happen when updating my N80.

Anyone else experiencing this too?

Yes, I had those problems too (in my 6680.) So when I was connecting to the PC - I usually had some rubber bands ready.
