cingular won bid for ATT

i just heard from an ATT NYC employee that cingular won vodaphone

not much details about how the reconstruction is gonna be carried out, or whethr it'll be a merge or takeover

merger/takeover, pretty much the same, lots of upper management will lose their jobs, some technologies will be combined, but I think for themost part, the customers may get a better choice of phones :) Cing will prob keep the mMode thing.

take over= (in this case) cingular removes the ATT brand, and shift all menus and engraved logos
