New Nokia 6300, 6290, 6086 and 2626

Nokia releases four new mobile phones today with the 6290, 6086, 6300 and 2626.

The Nokia 6300 is a mid-range phone and is less than 13.1mm thin. Features include 2MP camera, 2 inch screen, MP3 player and FM radio. Price will be 250 Euros.

The Nokia 6290 is a 3G smartphone running S60 3rd edition. Features of the 6290 include 2MP camera, 2.2 inch QVGA screen, mp3 player, email with advanced attachment viewer and 2 way video calling. Price is set at 325 Euros.


The Nokia 6086 is a quad-band GSM and UMA enabled cameraphone priced at 200 Euros.
Features of the 6086 include UMA, VGA camera, camcorder, video player and 5 hours of talk-time.

The Nokia 2626 is a colorful fashion phone for emerging markets priced at 75 Euros.

The four new Nokia phones are expected to ship in Q1 2007.

mmm... the 6290 is interesting enough. Those wanting a clamshell smartphone but isn't getting an N71 might actually consider this.

They have hidden depths.. the 6029 is probably the most "normal" 3G clamshell that Nokia have produced to date, and it has S60 too. The 6086 is a UMA/VOIP device which looks interesting.

The 6300 certainly looks nice, but it's not too interesting from a technical pov.
